I NEED HELP, will a racoon attack? Large pilgrim geese, and eat them? There has been a racoon hanging around off and on. I Have a small mini farm. Or could a fox attack eat them? The outside of the geese were in tack, they just eat their insides. I hope someone can help.

I have a question about a nursing mother in a tree very close to my house. The two babies are about 6-8 weeks old. The mom is alittle too complacent with us and she is letting the young out to fend and play for themselves although she is nursing them most of the time we see her. We are in NJ in the north/north./central part near NY. We have pix of her and her young at all times of day and night. I was a vet tech (10 yrs ago for 9 yrs =19 yrs ago I started) but I didn't have to deal with wildlife.

I just want to get some feedback. If I call animal control they will take her. I'd like to avoid that. Right now at midnight, she's doing exactly what she should be doing: in the hollow of the tree, the babies are inside and her back is covering the opening. Fifteen years ago I knew a woman that was licenses by the state. She no longer does this and I'd like someone that know NJ laws to guide me.

Thanks
